The inaugural exhibition is centered around the permanent transformation and recirculation of ‘image’, particularly in relationship to depictions of self. At the centre of the exhibition lies one work in particular, its genesis; Sturtevant’s - Plato’s Dual Action:Same/Idea/Transposed (2004), the perfect eternal loop.
With works by artists Anne Collier, Arthur Jafa, Sturtevant, Adrian Piper, Mark Leckey, Martine Syms and Josiane M.H. Pozi the exhibition presents a series of transmissions and evasions, encouraging discourse and unencombered reflection.
